About the APSN Workshop

 

 

The APEC Port Services Network (APSN), a non-profit organization established in 2008 and reports directly to the Asia-Pacific Economic Conference (APEC) Transportation Working Group, will hold its 14th APSN Council Meeting and the APSN Workshop on Safe and Inclusive Pandemic Recovery of APEC Port Industry, with the Philippine Ports Authority as its host.

Slated on 18-19 October 2022 at The Bayleaf Hotel in Intramuros, Manila, logistics and transportation experts from the Asia-Pacific region are expected to present, discuss, and facilitate on core issues and topics that affect maritime transportation, such as supply chain resiliency, intermodal connectivity, sustainable green and intelligent transport systems, and other related concerns. 

With the Philippines as the host economy, stakeholders from its local ports will greatly benefit from the exchange of information and sharing of best practices among different ports all over the Asia-Pacific, for the collective appreciation by member economies, helping advance APEC goals of promoting economic integration and connectivity in the region.
