OCTOBER 25, 2016, MANILA--Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) General Manager Jay Daniel R. Santiago today visited the Ports of Batangas and Calapan, two of the country's busiest passenger terminals, as part of PPA's Oplan Ligtas Biyahe -- Undas 2016 to guarantee safety, comfort and convenience of passengers while inside the terminals while waiting for their scheduled trips. Free Wi-Fi is also provided in 67 terminals nationwide making PPA ports more passenger-friendly. Santiago is also set to visit the North Port, the country's premiere domestic port, this Thursday.

Latest data from the PPA showed that net income for the Jan-Jul 2016 period is at P4.39 billion or 16% higher than the P3.78 billion posted in the same period in 2015.
