09 MARCH 2025 — In solidarity with the global community, the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) proudly joins the nation in commemorating National Women’s Month this March and International Women’s Day today, March 8, 2025. A series of activities across the country’s port management offices (PMOs) underscores the agency’s unwavering commitment to empowering women and fostering gender equality, aligned with this year’s theme: “Babae sa Lahat ng Sektor, Aangat ang Bukas sa Bagong Pilipinas.”
08 MARSO 2025 — Pinangunahan ni Department of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Vivencio ‘Vince’ Dizon, kasama ang kanyang mga undersecretaries at si Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) General Manager Jay Santiago, ang pagbisita at inspeksyon sa Iloilo International Airport at Visayas Container Terminal (VCT), ngayong Sabado, Marso 8, 2025.
06 MARSO 2025 — Ngayong pumalo na sa 43 degrees Celcius ang heat index sa ilang bahagi ng bansa at habang papalapit na ang mga buwan ng tag-init o summer season, maagang nakapaghanda ang Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) sa inaasahang mas pagsigla pa ng industriya ng cruise tourism dahil sa nakikitang malaking pagtaas sa bilang ng mga bibisitang international cruise vessels at dayuhang turista sa mga pangunahing destinasyon sa buong bansa sa unang quarter ng 2025.
26 FEBRUARY 2025 — The Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) formally launched its Integrated Management System (IMS) at the Port Management Offices (PMOs) NCR-North and PMO NCR-South on February 24, 2025. This initiative aims to enhance port operations by ensuring compliance with ISO standards and the Government Quality Management Systems Standards (GQMSS).
16 JANUARY 2025 — The Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) once again has achieved a milestone in the history of the state agency by posting a total revenue of P27.30 billion for 2024, surpassing its target revenue of P26.09 billion, making it the highest annualrevenue since the agency’s establishment in 1974.
According to the agency’s preliminary December 2024 financial performance report, the P27.30 billion revenue marks a 7.29% increase from the P25.45 billion recorded in 2023.
