10 HUNYO 2026 — Agad na nagsagawa ng inspeksyon ang Department of Transportation (DOTr) at Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) sa mga pangunahing pantalan sa Socsargen kasunod ng magnitude 7.0 na lindol sa Mindanao upang tiyakin ang kaligtasan ng publiko at pabilisin ang pagtugon sa mga naapektuhang pasilidad nitong ika-9 ng Hunyo 2026.

08 JUNE 2026 — The Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) quickly activated port safety measures across affected port areas in Mindanao following the magnitude 7.0 earthquake recorded offshore Sarangani and the subsequent tsunami warning issued by the Department of Science and Technology–Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (DOST-PHIVOLCS).

29 MAYO 2026 — Kasabay ng nalalapit na pagbubukas ng klase, tiniyak ng Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) ang kahandaan ng mga pantalan sa buong bansa sa pamamagitan ng patuloy na modernisasyon at pagpapahusay ng mga pasilidad upang makapagbigay ng mas ligtas at komportableng biyahe para sa mga pasahero, partikular sa mga estudyante at pamilyang magbabalik-probinsya.

01 MAY 2026 — In observance of Labor Day, the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) conveys its recognition and appreciation for port workers and frontliners across the country, underscoring their indispensable role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and continuous operation of the nation’s ports. Amid prevailing economic challenges, including the rising cost of basic commodities, services, and fuel, these personnel remain steadfast in the performance of their duties.

22 APRIL 2026 – In celebration of Earth Day 2026, the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) announced that over 20 million trees have been planted under the Agency’s Green Port Strategy, as part of its Port Environmental Policy launched in 2020 to ensure that port development minimizes environmental impact while promoting long-term sustainability.

21 APRIL 2026 – The Philippine Ports Authority (PPA), under the leadership of PPA General Manager Jay Santiago, is among the government agencies recognized today, April 21, 2026, by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) for achieving Maturity Level 3, or “Integrated Human Resource Management (HRM),” under the Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM).

18 APRIL 2026 — Cruise ships arriving on Philippine shores are no longer just making brief stopovers. More voyages are now beginning and ending in the country, signaling a shift in how global travelers experience local destinations. This trend highlights the Philippines’ growing role as a cruise hub in Asia, as port activity remains steady and turnaround operations increase in early 2026.

15 ABRIL 2026 – Bilang tulong sa mataas na presyo ng produktong petrolyo at sa taas-presyo ng mga bilihin, sinimulan na ng Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) ang implementasyon ng PISO (Php 1) Ro-Ro Terminal Fee (RRTF) para sa mga sasakyang may kargang hilaw at hindi naprosesong produktong agrikultural, alinsunod sa Administrative Order No. 003-2026.
