§ Geographical Location

CASODECO Ferry Landing in Km. 11, Sasa, Davao City was constructed by the Balunos family during the early 90s to serve the transport needs for heavy equipment to Samal Island for its road constructions and other government projects.

Currently, it is used as an alternate platsofrm for the larger barges form Manila in the absence of a special ramp for such at the government-operated Sasa Wharf.

§ Navigational Approach

Entry and exit points from the privately-run CASODECO port structure is through the Davao Gulf.

§ Entrance Channel

Like the ports along the Sasa Davao City coasts, access to the CASODECO Ferry Landing Area is through the Pakiputan Strait.
