Berthing facilities
Presently, the fast craft located at the northeast section of the wharf is being utilized by the lone "Supercat" fastcraft vessel plying the Calapan-Batangas route. However, the port's operational plan is to permanently utilize the recently completed 75-meter long finger pier at the southwest portion of the wharf as dedicated berths for fast crafts which can accommodate a maximum of four (4) vessels in one time. This plan, however, will materialize upon completion of the ongoing construction of the new Pasenger Terminal Building (PTB) adjoining the finger pier by the second quarter of 2008.
Roll-On Roll-Off (Roro) facilities
The wharf has seven (7) RoRo ramps spaced evenly along its entire faceline. The berthing length/area, however, of the RoRo ramp at the southernmost portion of the facility is intermittently used for berthing of conventional vessels. The following are the particulars of the said ramps:
1. RoRo ramp nos. 1, 2 and 3 - 9.0m x 9.0m fixed ramp and constructed flush with the wharf's faceline. Berthing depth is -5.0m from MLLW.
2. RoRo ramp No. 4 - 9.0m x 11.0m fixed ramp but independent of the wharf's faceline (protruding). Berthing dept is -5.0m from MLLW.
