I. FACT SHEET A. GENERAL INFORMATION The Port of Sta. Cruz links Marinduque and the Provinces of Batangas, Mindoro, Laguna, Quezon, and even Metro Manila. It handles general and dry bulk cargoes, mostly agricultural products and consumer goods, and accommodation of passengers. B. PORT PROFILE Location. The Port of Sta. Cruz is located a Lat. 13"28'N, Long. 122"03'E, northwest of Marinduque facing Mogpog Pass, Sta Cruz, Mariduque. Sea Distance. Sea distance to Manila is 156.7 nautical miles. Port Area . The total port area of TMO Sta. Cruz is 4,968 square meters Land Access . Provincial road link to causeway road of 2,555 lineal meters Entrance channel/Turning basin. The channel is very narrow and the draft is very shallow due to strong siltation. Physical Environment/Topography. The port is at the foot of the mountains of Sta. Cruz Anchorage and Fairway. Good protected anchorage maybe found in depth 16.5 meters soft and mud bottom, south tnagent of Sta. Cruz Island bearing 91 degrees Western tangent of same island bearing 334 degrees Pilotage. Cargo shed of approximately 50 square meters is part of the 200 square meters floor area of a passenger/cargo shed building.
